In July 2015 I was invited by Vicenç Altaió (Catalan writer and curator) to exhibit at the Galeria Cadaqués. I took this opportunity to create work based on the historical, cultural and geopolitical significance of Cadaqués, a small town on the northeastern coast of Catalunya. Historically it has always been a neuralgic centre / hub for local and international artists such as Salvador Dalí, Richard Hamilton and Marcel Duchamp.
All the pieces were related to “Road” book. “Road” measures the journey to the town of Cadaqués by means of counting the 54 kilometres travelled by road / car from the border with France.
